Voice & Acting Classes 2024-2025
All the benefits of a private voice or acting lesson, with double the fun!
'G Production Groups' train to improve on a variety of vocal skills including tone, pitch, rhythm, annunciation, solfege, basic note reading, diction, harmony, breath control, ear training and performance. Over and above that, members of each group are aquatinted with, and become skilled in: sound and microphone usage, set/scene/costume changes, monologue preparation, character development and scene analysis, choreography, stage positioning and blocking, backstage etiquette, and public speaking. Music we may study includes Musical Theatre, Pop, Folk, Classical, Acapella, and more.

- Registration closes when all spaces are filled. Spaces are limited to 10 students per class.

- Voice and Acting classes culminate into biannual productions at Blue Note Napa. Additional performances may be performed on the radio, community organizations, and other performance venues throughout the Napa Valley.

"Swift Notes & Stage Lights" Wednesday 3:30-4:30 PM
Sing, perform, and shine like Taylor Swift! In this class, you'll master Taylor's hits with a focus on vocal technique and stage presence. Build your confidence while learning to bring the energy of Taylor's live performances to life. The grand finale? A live performance at Blue Note Napa in May!

G Minor singers gain confidence and improved self-esteem through songs and learn how to read music too! This is truly where the journey of proper, healthy singing and music appreciation begins. The sound, polish, and memorization skills these little ones attain throughout the year is remarkable to witness and hear. We are excited about introducing the joy of singing and monologue study to your child, in this fun, collaborative setting.

G MINOR
G Major singers continue their vocal foundations with quality song selections and more challenging vocal theoretics. Additionally, solo singing opportunities are part of G Majors performance format. These performers really start to bond with each other while gaining performance confidence through music they truly love. Acting and monologue work is augmented with more challenging material.

G Select tackles challenging vocal arrangements, and is a small, specialized singing ensemble for our experienced students who are moving up to the next level of performance and individual vocal style. Harmonization is an important component of this ensemble. These singers work together with their Directors selecting current, appropriate music that is exciting to them, while refining vocal skills that really unify their sound, achieving balance and blend. Above all, flexible solo and duet opportunities allow G Select Singers to be featured, developing their personal vocal and performing style.
